Carpet Stains Solutions

If you have carpet you have stains. There are many carpet stain removal chemicals available and many are very expensive and not always that successful and can even sometimes damage your carpet.

Below are some easy carpet stain removal recipes that are generally effective and safe to use on your carpet.

Always try out a solution on a part of your carpet that is out of the way and not easily seen before you try on the main stain area.

Always use an un dyed cloth and rub into the center of the stain to avoid any of the stain spreading.

No matter the kind of spill or carpet, these carpet stain solution treatments will lift up whatever’s underfoot.

Synthetic-Fiber Rugs

Wine, ketchup, chocolate, coffee, tea, beer, milk, tomato sauce, berries, hard candy, juice, soda, Gatorade, Kool-Aid
1. Dip a white cloth (or a white paper towel with no printing) into the detergent solution and dab repeatedly, then press the cloth on the spot for a few seconds. Wait 15 minutes (it takes time to break down the stain), then soak up the excess liquid with a dry white cloth.
2. Dip a cloth into the vinegar solution and dab repeatedly, then press the cloth on the spot for a few seconds. Wait another 15 minutes. (This is an important step, because white vinegar removes residual detergent, which will attract dirt if left in the carpet.)
3. Rinse by blotting with a cloth soaked in lukewarm water. Wait one hour or until the carpet dries completely. For bad spills, place a 1/2-inch-thick stack of white paper towels over the stain after step 2, then lay a glass baking dish on top for 15 minutes.
4. As long as you see the stain lightening, repeat these steps until it is gone.

Natural-Fiber Rugs

Beer, coffee, tea
1. Spray the stain with detergent solution, then blot with a dry white cloth.
2. Spray the stain with vinegar solution, then blot with a dry white cloth.
3. Spray the stain with detergent solution, then blot with a dry white cloth.
4. Spray the stain with lukewarm water, then blot with a dry white cloth.
5. Repeat steps 1 through 4 until the stain is removed.

Hard candy, chocolate, berries, juice, wine, soda, milk
Follow steps 1 to 5 (above), with one addition: Before applying the vinegar solution in step 2, spray the stain with ammonia solution, then blot with a dry white cloth.

Ketchup, Gatorade, Kool-Aid, tomato sauce
Follow steps 1 to 5 (above), but substitute ammonia solution for the vinegar one in step 2.

Your contributions would be gratefully accepted and I hope that you will provide feedback through our comment form or use our Contact email and your own cleaning tips and tricks to support our growing community. A growing number of people every day are avoiding chemicals that can be harmful to our health and our environment. I nope to utilise natural cleaning solutions to most of the everyday cleaning processes. There are many of our basic household ingredients and items that can be used to clean your home. As an example I have listed below some of the more common possibilities below.

It’s always best to test any cleaner on a hidden area first to make sure no color change or damage occurs.

Vinegar

Natural cleaning solutions

Vinegar natural cleaner and deodoriser

Vinegar actually cleans much like an all-purpose cleaner. Just grab a spry bottle, mix a solution of equal parts of water and vinegar and you have a multipurpose cleanser that will clean most areas of your home. Vinegar is a  disinfectant and deodorizer as well as a natural cleaning product. You need not be concerned that your home will  smell like vinegar, the smell disappears when it dries. You must always dilute vinegar properly, ( like most cleaning products natural and otherwise more is not best!) Vinegar is acidic and can eat away at tile grout. and should not be used on marble surfaces

Baking Soda  BakingSodaVinegar

Baking soda can be chosen to scrub surfaces in very much the  same way as commercial non-abrasive products. Baking soda is also undoubtedly fantastic as a general purpose deodorizer. Put it in a container in the fridge and freezer and it will absorb most offensive smells. Set it at any place you need deodorizing. It can be used in your garbage containers, laundry, and even those super stinky trainers. Baking soda tends to make a terrific inclusion in the laundry room as well. Baking soda is definitely one of the most functional and versatile cleaning agents available.

Lemon Juice

Natural cleaning products

Lemons a great whitening agent

Lemon juice is one more purely natural material that may be implemented for you to clean your house. Did you know that Lemon juice  is actually a fantastic ingredient to clean and shine brass and copper. Lemon juice can easily be utilised to break down soap scum and hard water build up. Have a go with blending lemon juice with vinegar or baking soda to make cleaning pastes for cleaning built up stains on your stove top. Cut a lemon in half and mix baking soda on the cut portion of your lemon and scrub away. Use the lemon to scrub dishes, bathroom surfaces, and bothersome stains. Be advised that lemon juice can easily act as a natural bleach so take some care. It’s a good idea to try it out on a concealed area first. Incorporate 1 cup olive oil with ½ cup lemon juice and you have a furniture polish for hard wood furniture. One of my favorite uses for the fruit is to put a whole lemon peel through the garbage disposal. It freshens the drain and also the kitchen area. Orange peels may be used with the same outcomes. Lemon juice is versatile because of its organic bleaching attributes.
